Now in its fifth year, KiB decided to redesign their first ever project, “Mrs Clydesdale’s garden.” We opted for sustainable planting and our heather garden was born. Solstice Nurseries of Deeside, Aberdeenshire was our chosen supplier. Solstice operates as a social enterprise growing heathers of outstanding quality. They helped us hand pick 120 heathers, taking into account our design, location, soil type and growing conditions. KiB organised a work party to implement the project and after two hours of hard graft mixed with fun Mrs Clydesdale’s garden was transformed in a beautiful heather garden which will give all year round colour. We are delighted with the result. In our experience Solstice Nurseries are to be highly commended for their level of customer care, service and outstanding knowledge base.
